Interactive Experiences & Games
We craft experiences
people remember.
Drachenfels Interactive creates immersive VR/AR experiences for businesses and develops games, both our own titles and projects for clients.
About Us
Two missions
Drachenfels Interactive is a small German studio of four developers with a shared passion for building things that engage people on a deeper level. We work across two closely related areas: immersive applications for businesses, and games.
On the business side, we design and develop VR and AR experiences: interactive installations, eye-catching marketing activations, and bespoke digital environments that help brands leave a lasting impression.
On the games side, we develop and publish our own titles, and we take on game development projects for clients who need a capable, focused team without the overhead of a large studio.
We don't have a big art department. What we do have is solid engineering, genuine enthusiasm for real-time experiences, and the versatility to wear multiple hats when a project demands it.

Our Approach
How we think about interactive experiences.
Games and business applications are different use cases, but the underlying principles we care about don't change between them.
Immersion is earned, not assumed.
A VR headset or a game controller doesn't make an experience immersive by itself. We obsess over the details (interaction, feedback, pacing) that make people forget there's a screen between them and the world we built.
Engineering is the product.
With a team of four programmers, code isn't just an implementation detail: it is the craft. We write systems we're proud of, because brittle foundations always show up in the final experience.
Small is a feature, not a limitation.
A small team means short decision paths, full ownership, and no handoff overhead. Every person who works on a project can speak to every part of it.
